Snoring often has a disruptive effect on your personal life. The unpleasant consequences during the day are often more serious than the obvious disturbance to your night's sleep. Approximately 2.5 million people in Germany suffer from sleep apnoea, a condition that causes a lack of oxygen during the night. Daytime tiredness and microsleep are common consequences. It is often possible to identify the causes and alleviate them, or even eliminate snoring altogether.

To determine the extent to which you are affected by snoring, we offer outpatient polysomnography. This saves time-consuming examinations in a sleep laboratory. You will be provided with a portable device that is easy and convenient to take home with you. We will connect you to the device for the night using adhesive electrodes. During the night, your circulatory function, oxygen saturation and respiratory movements will be automatically recorded. You then come to our practice for evaluation and discussion.

By the way: approximately 20% of the population snores, of these 60% are men.

Snoring without sleep apnoea can also be treated. A range of different therapy options are available. We are happy to provide advice.
